Half-day private boat tour on Lake Como

A half-day private boat tour on Lake Como lasts 4 hours and costs €1,000 for the whole boat, with a local captain, fuel and prosecco included. Even from Como or Cernobbio it reaches Villa del Balbianello and Bellagio, with time to slow down in front of the villas.

The route

From the Como branch: Villa d'Este, Moltrasio, George Clooney's villa, the Nesso waterfall, Isola Comacina and Villa del Balbianello, then across to Bellagio. From the centre of the lake you add Varenna and Villa Carlotta.

02

Why four hours

It is the length that gives the whole picture of the lake without taking the whole day: morning on the water, lunch ashore, or an afternoon that ends with an aperitivo on board.

03

Good to know

Bring a light jacket: in the middle of the lake the air is cooler. In summer bring swimwear for a stop.

Good questions.

Can we stop in Bellagio?

Yes, the time ashore counts within your 4 hours.

Is it better than the full day?

For a first visit four hours are enough to see the villas and Bellagio; the full day adds Varenna and long stops ashore.
