The boat, the captain and the route are yours for the length of the tour. No shared seats, no fixed timetable, no strangers on board. If you want to stop longer in front of a villa or skip a village, you say so and the captain adapts.
Our captains sail Venetian-style wooden taxis for up to 11 guests (the largest takes 16) and open motorboats for smaller groups. For a special day you can book a classic Riva or a Saxdor by name. You choose the type of boat; we assign the free boat closest to your pier.
In 1 hour you see the first basin: Cernobbio, Villa d'Este, Moltrasio, Laglio and Torno. With 2 hours you reach the Nesso waterfall. With 3 hours you go as far as Villa del Balbianello, the villa of Casino Royale and Star Wars. With 5 hours you reach Bellagio and Varenna, and the full-day Iconic Tour adds stops ashore in both. These are example routes from Cernobbio: from a pier closer to the centre of the lake you get further in the same time.
Choose the tour, the day, the time and your pier here on the site, and pay the booking fee online. A local captain confirms by email, usually within two hours, and you pay the rest on board. Shortly before the tour, the captain contacts you to tell you exactly where to meet and how to recognise the boat.
